-Malankara Multi-State Co-operative Credit Society Ltd was registered under Multi State Co-operative Society Act 2002 passed by the Parliament and got assent of the Hon'ble President of India on 3rd July, 2002 . We are one among the few credit societies in Kerala, who is permitted to accept deposits and provide loans to its members by Central Registrar of Multi State Co-operative Societies with registration number MSCS/CR/297/2008 under the Ministry of Co-operation, Government of India. During the last two years under the present Board of Directors, the society could grow very fast with more than 20,000 members and we are aiming at one lakh membership in the near future. The Society has a strong IT platform with Core Banking Software and a support system operated by highly dedicated staff members. We have formulated various deposit and pension plans with attractive interest rates compared with other societies in Kerala. As a financial intermediary, we have designed various loan products to promote agriculture, environmental friendly electrical vehicles, and other segments to suit the requirements of our members. Dr. Boby Chemmanur, who is well known for his various philanthropic activities, is our promoter as well as Brand Ambassador. The society is managed and operated by professionals in key areas, under the leadership and guidance of Mr. Jisso Baby, Chairman and Managing Director who chairs the Society’s Director Board also. The current constituted board includes experts from the field of agriculture, trade, industry etc. We are permitted to open and operate Customer Facilitation Centres in the States of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka over and above Kerala, where, we have a commendable presence. In other States, we plan to source business through Business Correspondents, controlled from our own business HUB in those States. Since we are working under a strong Core Banking IT platform, society shall have absolute control over the operations in all these States from our Registered office located at Thrissur. We have Deposit and Investment products from 30 days to 25 years, Recurring Deposits up to five years, Savings bank deposits, Pension product etc. We also have an array of loan products under major heads viz. Personal Loan, Vehicle Loans, Loan against Property etc. We also have specialised loan products like Group Loans and Daily collection loans etc. Kendra Grameen Pvt Ltd manages the largest hydroponic project in South India, situated in Kalpetta, Wayanad of controlled climate producing exotic vegetables and fruits.
